This fall, CASE begins its 12th year of afterschool programming. Over the past decade, CASE has grown from serving a small group of students from one middle school to a program that supports youth across Nashville at eight different locations, offering a safe and encouraging space for learning, creativity, and personal growth. Each year, we look for ways to expand opportunities for students, and this year brings some exciting changes.
For the first time, students will have the chance to participate in CASE Clubs. Once a week, students can choose from options like art, chess, music, or book club. These clubs give students the opportunity to explore their interests more deeply and work on projects or performances they can share with their peers. Whether painting, performing, or crafting, students will have new ways to learn and shine.
CASE is also expanding to three new sites. Our programs will now be available at 808 Apartments and Buffalo Trail Apartments for students in 3rd through 8th grade, as well as at Gere Baxter Middle School for middle school students. Bringing CASE to new locations helps us reach more students and provide the support, enrichment, and opportunities they need to grow.
This year, as every year, we are focused on helping students build confidence, try new things, and discover their strengths. With the addition of clubs and new sites, CASE is continuing to grow as a place where students can learn, create, and connect with their peers. We are grateful to the families, staff, and partners who make this work possible and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
