Our Language in Action (LIA) program recently had the privilege of partnering with Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors (TJFON) and FiftyForward to host an informative seminar, "Understanding Your Rights & New Immigration Laws." This event brought together community members, legal experts, and advocates for an educational session focused on immigration laws and legal rights.
TJFON led the seminar, providing valuable insights into new immigration legislation and offering practical guidance on navigating the complexities of the legal system. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and gain a clearer understanding of their rights under the law. The atmosphere was one of learning, support, and community connection.
