CASE Nation: Together, We Go Far

Updated: Aug 13

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."

— African Proverb

Last year, we challenged our students to be Unmuted—to Speak Up with courage, honesty, and purpose. Inspired by the words of Haben Girma, “I can’t control their actions, but I can control the messages I send,” our youth learned that their voice has power. They discovered that speaking up—whether through words, actions, or quiet strength—can shape their environment and influence others for the better.

This year, we will build on that foundation. Because once your voice is unmuted, the next question becomes:

What do we do with all these voices?

We unite them.

Welcome to CASE Nation—a culture of community, connection, and purpose. Just like a nation is formed by people bound by shared values, language, and goals, CASE Nation is where students are seen, heard, and invited to make a meaningful difference together.

In a world that often encourages individualism, we are choosing something different.

We are forming youth who understand that their actions impact others—that they are not the center of the world, but a vital part of it.

Our mission at CASE is to equip middle school youth with the character and life skills necessary to mend, befriend, and make a difference in their communities. This mission takes shape not only in what we teach, but how we live and grow together.

At CASE, we teach youth to:

  • Mend what is broken—with compassion, forgiveness, and understanding.

  • Befriend those around them—building bridges across differences.

  • Make a difference—not alone, but in community.

Every student learns:

  • Who they are and the strengths they bring.

  • How to relate to others with compassion and integrity.

  • When to lead and when to support.

  • Why their actions matter, especially when done in unity with others.

At CASE, we don’t just talk about character—we practice it. Sometimes that looks like stepping up to lead. Sometimes it looks like stepping back to lift someone else up. But always, it means being flexible, attentive, and committed to the need at hand. T

his is how we go far. Not by racing ahead alone—but by walking forward together, with purpose and care. This is CASE Nation. Your voice still matters. Now let’s use it—to build something greater than ourselves.
